Wavetrak manufactures ATEX Certified Explosion Proof Pigging Transmitters for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. This equipment complies with EN/IEC 60079-0:2011 and EN/IEC 60079-1:2007.
Pig Tracking Transmitters
Through various consultations from within the pipeline tools industry, our R&D department has been able to enhance our pipeline pigging transmitter signal performance. Because of this advantage, Wavetrak Electronics is able to offer custom battery life and enhanced signal strength for our pig tracking equipment. Switchable signals are also available.
Transmitters
Wavetrak offers the best pigging transmitters in the industry. Our patented construction allows for a stronger signal from a smaller pig tracking transmitter. All transmitters are powered by easy to replace, standard size alkaline batteries, and are built using tough stainless steel housings. High temperature transmitters also available in select models.

Receivers
Non-Intrusive WT-RC model tracking receivers are built from a light-weight and durable aluminum frame, high impact polyurethane cast handle and poly-carbonate internal brackets. These receivers are waterproof and capable of detecting 5 different frequencies.
Geophone Amplifiers
Our Ear One Geophone is compact, easy to use, and rugged. It can connect to your vehicle's stereo system using a standard auxiliary audio cable, or can be used with headphones. Built in noise filtering ensures the operator can hear an approaching pig clearly. FM transmitter also available upon request.
How it Works.
Frequency coded transmitters and receivers allows the operator to distinguish between up to 5 different transmitters in one train (Standard 22 Hz, Continuous 22 Hz, and Codes A, B and C).
Using a Wavetrak WT-RC coded pig tracking receiver allows the operator to identify which pig is currently getting tracked by displaying the code of the transmitter being received.
